.Synopsis for the far southern California coast...
At 1 AM, a 1011 mb low over northern California trailed a strong
cold front southwestward to Point Conception and out over the coastal
waters. Strong northwest winds from 20 to 40 knots behind this
cold front will move into the Southern California coastal waters
this afternoon. A Gale Warning is in effect for the Outer Waters
and a Small Craft Advisory is in effect for the Inner Waters
through Tuesday morning. The winds decrease Tuesday afternoon.
