third of the combined wind-wave and swell height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NORTHWEST COAST...
A 1036 mb high is over Point Lay and will move to 150 nm E of
Wrangel Island Tue. A broad area of low pressure remains across
the Bering Sea with a 991 mb low 200 nm N of Amchitka. High
pressure that extends S over the SW mainland will be squeezed as
a 1020 mb high moves near the S end of Kodiak Island. The low
in the Bering Sea will move to 200 nm N of Shemya at 995 mb, and
a 992 mb low will move from the Kuril Islands across the NW
Pacific to the Central Aleutians by Tue morning.
