...The National Weather Service in the San Francisco Bay Area has
issued a Hydrologic Statement for the following river forecast
locations in California...

  The Carmel River at Robles Del Rio affecting Carmel Valley Village in
  Monterey County

.Heavy rain fell on Wednesday and will continue tonight. Excessive runoff
has allowed for rapid rises on the Carmel River.

* Forecast information for the Carmel River.
* The Robles Del Rio forecast point will rise above Monitor Stage.
* At 10:15 PM Wednesday the stage was...4.9 feet
* No flooding is forecast.
* MONITOR STAGE is 7.5 feet, FLOOD STAGE is 8.5 feet.
* This river is forecast to rise above monitor stage of 7.5 feet early
  Thursday morning then forecast to rise to near 7.6 feet between 4-8 am
  then forecast to fall below monitor stage of 7.5 feet by late morning
  then forecast to recede to near 7.0 feet tomorrow evening.
* At 8.5 feet...Low lying homes from Camp Steffani to below Robles
  del Rio will begin to flood. Old Odello Ranch near Carmel begins to
  flood.  Homes along Paso Hondo and Dampierre Park subject to
  flooding.
