...SIGNIFICANT SNOW POSSIBLE LATE SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY
IN NORTHCENTRAL WISCONSIN...

A strong winter storm is expected to move across the area late
Saturday night through Monday. Light snow should arrive late
Saturday night, and become heavy at times during the day Sunday.
The snow will start to diminish Sunday night, except for the
snowbelt areas where lake effect snow will continue into Monday.

Significant snow is possible with this system. Some locations
could receive six inches or more by Monday. Gusty winds are
expected Sunday night and Monday, which could cause blowing and
drifting snow and poor visibility.

There is still some uncertainty as to the path of the system and
snowfall amounts, so if you are planning to travel this weekend,
monitor the forecast for the latest information.
