Dry north and northeast flow will continue through Tuesday thanks
to a slow-moving low pressure center just off the U.S. Mid-
Atlantic coast.

(Tuesday Night through Wednesday night)
Issued at 201 AM EDT Mon Oct 3 2022

Troughing along the East Coast moves out into the Atlantic by
Wednesday with slight ridging building over the area. Surface high
pressure also builds in over the eastern US. Sunny skies and
warming afternoon temperatures are expected with highs returning
to the mid-80s area-wide by Wednesday afternoon. Lows will range
from the low 50s over AL and GA to the mid-50s to near 60 in FL.

(Thursday through Sunday)

High pressure remains overhead through Friday before a cold front
moves through Friday night into Saturday. Ahead of the front,
temperatures will rise to the upper 80s across the area both
Thursday and Friday afternoons. Lows, likewise, warm into the
upper 50s to lower 60s areawide. The frontal passage will be dry
with PWATs only around 1 inch. Behind the front, highs return to
the upper 70s/lower 80s with lows in the 50s.

VFR conditions are expected to prevail through the period with north
to northeast winds increasing to around 10 knots after sunrise.

Moderate northeasterly breezes continue through midweek with seas
around 2 to 4 feet. Brief cautionary conditions are possible over
the waters tonight as winds freshen. During the latter half, high
pressure builds over the area, allowing winds and seas to relax.

Dry conditions are expected over the next several days. Min RH
values may approach 25 percent across portions of south-central
Georgia on Wednesday afternoon. Winds are expected to remain below
