THE MONTH OF AUGUST AT THE FARGO HECTOR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT WAS
NEAR NORMAL IN TEMPERATURES AND SLIGHTLY BELOW NORMAL IN
PRECIPITATION.

THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE FOR THE MONTH WAS 68.4 DEGREES WHICH WAS 0.4
DEGREES BELOW NORMAL. THE TEMPERATURES DURING THE MONTH STARTED OFF
SLIGHTLY BELOW NORMAL BEFORE CLIMBING TO NEAR NORMAL FOR THE
REMAINDER OF THE MONTH. NO DAILY TEMPERATURE RECORDS WERE BROKEN
DURING THE MONTH.

PRECIPITATION FOR THE MONTH WAS NEAR NORMAL. TOTAL LIQUID
PRECIPITATION WAS 2.44 INCHES WHICH WAS 0.16 INCHES BELOW NORMAL.
NO RAINFALL RECORDS WERE BROKEN DURING THE MONTH.
