THE MONTH OF AUGUST AT THE GRAND FORKS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT WAS
SLIGHTLY ABOVE NORMAL IN TEMPERATURES AND BELOW AVERAGE IN
PRECIPITATION.

THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE FOR THE MONTH WAS 69.1 DEGREES WHICH WAS 2.1
DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. THE TEMPERATURES DURING THE MONTH STARTED
SLIGHTLY COOLER BEFORE BECOMING NEAR TO SLIGHTLY ABOVE NORMAL
THROUGH THE LAST HALF OF THE MONTH. NO DAILY TEMPERATURE RECORDS
WERE BROKEN DURING THE MONTH.

PRECIPITATION FOR THE MONTH WAS WELL BELOW NORMAL. TOTAL LIQUID
PRECIPITATION WAS 1.42 INCHES WHICH WAS 1.39 INCHES BELOW NORMAL.
NO RAINFALL RECORDS WERE BROKEN DURING THE MONTH.
