improvements noted across the US Virgin Islands...

significantly...

SYNOPSIS...
The flooding rains associated with Hurricane Fiona significantly
improved the observed drought conditions across the local islands
with Moderate Drought (D1) and Severe Drought (D2) classification
being removed across Puerto Rico. As far as the US Virgin
Islands, drought conditions improved one or two categories.
Drought free conditions are now observed across Saint John while
Moderate Drought (D1) conditions prevail in Saint Croix.

NEXT ISSUANCE...
This is the last product unless significant changes in drought
conditions are observed.
