...FLOOD ADVISORY WILL EXPIRE AT 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

The Flood Advisory will expire at 8 PM EDT this evening for a
portion of southeast South Carolina, including the following
counties, Berkeley and Charleston. Traffic maps indicate that
numerous roads across Downtown Charleston and West Ashley remain
closed due to flooding, including the Crosstown. Roads may remain
closed across the area well into the overnight hours. In addition,
Church Creek near West Ashley observed a peak stage of 6.19 ft at
620 pm, minor flood stage is 5.5 ft. Water levels on Church Creek
will gradually lower through the rest of the evening and overnight.
Please continue to heed remaining road closures.
