FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN
National Weather Service Marquette MI
449 AM EDT Sun Jul 12 2020

...NEXT CHANCE OF RAIN LATE MONDAY NIGHT...

.DISCUSSION: With high pressure ridging slowly building over the
Upper Great Lakes today and tomorrow, both today and tomorrow are
expected to be dry. Afternoon minimum RH values should reach about
35 percent over the interior zones each day. While there will be a
breezy NNW wind today, much lighter winds are expected tomorrow
with winds tomorrow being driven mostly by the afternoon
lake breezes. A cold front will slowly approach from the west late
Monday night with heavy showers and a few thunderstorms possible.
Widespread showers are likely on Tuesday with this front. There
could be some thunderstorms and locally heavy rain as well.
