FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

North winds will gust 25 to 30 kts mainly over the southern half
of Lake Michigan today as low pressure of 29.7 inches moves from
the southern part of the lake to Lake Erie today. Lighter and more
southerly winds are expected tonight and Saturday. Then brisk
south winds and building waves are expected Sunday and Monday as
low pressure of 29.2 approaches from the plains.

showers and slight chance of thunderstorms this morning, then
chance of showers this afternoon. Waves 4 to 7 ft occasionally to
9 ft.
.TONIGHT...North winds to 30 kt diminishing to 15 to 25 kt late
in the evening, then becoming northwest 10 to 20 kt after
midnight diminishing to 5 to 10 kt late. Waves 4 to 6 ft
occasionally to 8 ft subsiding to 2 to 4 ft.
.SATURDAY...West winds 5 to 10 kt backing to south late in the
morning, then increasing to 10 to 15 kt early in the afternoon
becoming southeast 10 to 20 kt late. Waves 1 to 3 ft.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...Southeast winds 10 to 20 kt becoming south
15 to 25 kt. Chance of showers. Waves 1 to 3 ft building to 3 to
5 ft.
