...SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVERNIGHT...

A surge of surface high pressure will combine with moisture and
atmospheric instability to generate isolated to scattered showers
and thunderstorms early this Tuesday morning over the coastal
waters. Mariners should prepare for brief gusty winds of 25 to 30
knots and small hail. Conditions will improve from north to
south, with thunderstorm activity ending during the mid morning
hours.
