...WINDS SLOWLY SUBSIDING...

Winds are slowly subsiding. However, a few easterly to
northeasterly wind gusts to near 20 knots remain possible through
midday, especially over the lower tidal Potomac River northwest of
Piney Point Maryland, and the Chesapeake Bay north of Lower Hooper
Island Maryland.

Mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels, should
exercise extra caution if navigating the waters during this time.

A Small Craft Advisory remains in effect through this afternoon
for the tidal Potomac River northwest of Cobb Island Maryland, and
the Chesapeake Bay and adjoining estuaries north of Drum Point
Maryland.
