Waters from Pensacola FL to Pascagoula MS from 20 to 60 NM...
Until 515 PM CDT....

At 347 PM CDT...Showers and thunderstorms were located 29 nm south of
Oriskany Reef, or 50 nm southeast of Pensacola Pass...moving west at
5 knots.

These storms will remain over mainly open waters.

The primary threats from these storms are wind gusts up to 30 knots...
locally higher waves...and heavy downpours. Boaters should consider
seeking safe harbor until this storm has passed.

Weather conditions support the development of waterspouts.
Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous
waves and seas. If a waterspout is sighted...seek safe harbor
immediately.
