Subject:  Deployment of and Update to the Kp>7 Warning to Remove the
  Adjectival Description on or about September 28, 2023

On or about September 28, 2023, at 1700 Universal Coordinated Time
(UTC),
the National Weather Service will deploy an update to the Geomagnetic
K-
index of 7 or greater warning.With this change, the adjectival
description associated with the NOAA Space Weather Scales information
in
this product will be removed.  Currently the product contains the
following line:

NOAA Scale: G3 or greater - Strong to Extreme

This line will be changed to only show the following:

NOAA Scale: G3 or greater

This change is being made to reduce potential confusion when only G3
conditions are expected.
