Quiet weather prevailed across the Kansas region Wednesday night.
Under increasing cloudiness, predawn temperatures were relatively
mild in the 60s to near 70 degrees.

Hit-or-miss shower and storm chances will gradually increase from
the west Thursday, as a weather disturbance approaches Mid-America.
Chances for severe weather will be highest over portions of Oklahoma
and Nebraska. Forecast high temperatures are in the 80s.

Chances for scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue
Thursday night, with forecast low temperatures in the 60s.
