000 FNUS75 KSLC 251026 SMFSLC Smoke Management Forecast National Weather Service Salt Lake City Utah 426 AM MDT Mon Sep 25 2023......Cheng .DISCUSSION...An improvement in mixing conditions is expected today as the ridge axis shifts east and a weak but dry disturbance approaches Utah. Clearing indices will trend downward a bit tomorrow as transport winds decrease, but good to fair mixing can still be expected across many areas. A general improvement in mixing is expected on Wednesday ahead of a dry cold front, but on Thursday northwest Utah is expected to see a decrease in mixing behind the cold front while the rest of Utah should maintain good to excellent mixing conditions.
