...The National Weather Service in Omaha has issued a flood warning
for the following river in Iowa...Nebraska...

  Missouri River At Decatur affecting Monona...Burt and Thurston
  Counties.

  Missouri River At Omaha affecting Pottawattamie...Douglas and Sarpy
  Counties.

...Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity for the
  following river in Missouri...Nebraska...
  Missouri River At Brownville affecting Atchison and Nemaha
  Counties.

...Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity for the
  following river in Iowa...Nebraska...

  Missouri River Near Blair affecting Harrison...Pottawattamie and
  Washington Counties.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through areas where water covers the road.  The
water depth may be too great to allow your vehicle to pass safely.
Turn around...don`t drown!

* From Tuesday evening to Sunday September 22...or until the warning
  is cancelled.
* At 11:00 AM Friday the stage was 31.8 feet...or 3.2 feet below
  flood stage.
* Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage by Tuesday evening
  and continue to rise to near 35.8 feet by early Thursday afternoon.

* The Flood Warning continues for
  The Missouri River Near Blair.
* From Monday afternoon until further notice...or until the warning
  is cancelled.
* At 11:00 AM Friday the stage was 24.0 feet...or 2.5 feet below
  flood stage.
* Flood stage is 26.5 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage by Monday afternoon
  and continue to rise to near 28.7 feet by early Friday afternoon.
* Impact...at 29.0 feet...Overbank flows begin to enter the DeSoto NWR
  refuge. Impacts possible along Interstates 29 and 680.

  The Missouri River At Omaha.
* From late Wednesday night until further notice...or until the
  warning is cancelled.
* At 11:00 AM Friday the stage was 25.3 feet...or 3.7 feet below
  flood stage.
* Flood stage is 29.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage by early Thursday
  morning and continue to rise to near 29.8 feet by Saturday morning.
* Impact...at 29.0 feet...At this level water nears the base of the
  Council Bluffs levee. Significant lowland flooding occurs in NP
  Dodge Park, Freedom Park, Tom Hanafan Park, Fontenelle Forest and
  Haworth Park. Impacts possible along Interstates 29 and 680.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Missouri River At Brownville.
* At 10:15 AM Friday the stage was 35.7 feet...or 1.7 feet above
  flood stage.
* Flood stage is 34.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 38.6 feet by
  early Monday morning then begin falling.
* Impact...at 39.5 feet...The access road to the power plant begins
  flooding, also portions of 648A Avenue flood near Brownville.
