...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM PDT THIS
EVENING ABOVE 4000 FEET...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected above 4000 feet. Snow totals of one
  to three feet above 6000 feet. Snow accumulations of six to
  twelve inches from 5000 feet to 6000 feet. Snow totals of three
  to six inches from 4000 feet to 5000 feet. Winds could gust as
  high as 60 mph on exposed ridgetops and along the crest.

* WHERE...The Sierra Nevada above 4000 feet.

* WHEN...Until 11 PM PDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
  hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening
  commute. Strong winds could cause tree damage.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.

* WHAT...Hydrologic flooding caused by upstream dam release
  continues.

* WHERE...A portion of central California, including the following
  counties, Fresno, Kings and Tulare.

* WHEN...Until 700 AM PDT Sunday Apr 02.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 616 AM PDT, an upstream floodgate release is expected to
    cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Sanger, Reedley and Kingsburg.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

  Water over roadways. River or stream flows are elevated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 608 AM PDT, an upstream floodgate release is expected to
    cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Fresno, Mendota, Biola, Friant and Millerton Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
