This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and adjacent counties in
central Maryland and northern Virginia as well as the District of
Columbia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Flooding along the Potomac River is ongoing. Please consult Flood
Warnings for the latest information about ongoing flooding.

A Coastal Flood Warning is in effect for Washington DC through 1
PM this afternoon. Impacts will be especially felt around
Georgetown.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

A large area of low pressure will bring widespread rain to the
area Thursday afternoon through Friday. This rain may cause
incidents of small stream and urban flooding Thursday night into
Friday, and potential mainstem river flooding Friday and
Saturday.

Gale force winds are possible over the waters Thursday night
through Saturday.
