* IMPACTS...At 4.0 feet, This is monitoring stage. Visitors to the
lamoille canyon and the powerhouse picnic area need to use extreme
caution around lamoille creek and other creeks in the ruby
mountains. Pets, children, and even adult can be swept away in the
strong current.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:40 AM PDT Monday the stage was 4.2 feet.
- The creek levels have become steady with daily diurnal
fluctuations expected.

* IMPACTS...At 6.2 feet, Minor Flood Stage - Minor lowland flooding
occurs upstream and downstream of Elko. Very minor flooding from
backed up storm drains begins in Elko, especially in the parking
lots on Water Street between 7th and 9th Streets.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:40 AM PDT Monday the stage was 5.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to remain around 6.0 feet
through Tuesday.
- Action stage is 5.5 feet.

forecast

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Humboldt River At Comus.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Moderate to major lowland flooding
throughout the reach. Many rural roads near the river are flooded.
Minor to moderate flooding occurs in lower portions of Winnemucca.
Main area impacted is between the Union Pacific Railroad and
Golconda Street on the west and Second Street on the east, beneath
Interstate 80. This would be similar to flooding in February 2017.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 12:15 PM PDT Sunday the stage was 10.4 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 12:15 PM PDT Sunday was 10.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to slowly increase to 10.5
feet later tonight.
