...BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH FRIDAY
EVENING...

* HIGH WAVE ACTION... Large waves and dangerous currents are
  expected. Conditions are life threatening. Waves are expected
  to build to 3 to 5 feet at Lake Michigan beaches.

* STRONG STRUCTURAL CURRENTS...Expected.

* STRONG LONGSHORE CURRENTS...Expected.

* RIP CURRENTS...Possible.

* LOCATION...Beaches from Milwaukee to Kenosha.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Dangerous pounding waves and life-threatening currents are
expected at the beaches.  People visiting the beaches should stay
out of the water.

Structural currents form along piers where longshore currents and
wave action flow into the structure.  Structural currents can
sweep you out into deeper water along the pier structure.

Rip currents are powerful channels of water flowing quickly away
from shore, which occur most often at low spots or breaks in
sandbars. Rip currents can sweep you into deeper water.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of east central
Wisconsin, south central Wisconsin and southeast Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Persistent rainfall may result in some localized flooding this
evening into tonight, especially for areas toward the Illinois
border.

There is a high swim risk starting this evening for Milwaukee,
Racine, and Kenosha counties. The swim risk is moderate for
Sheboygan and Ozaukee counties. Breaking waves and currents are
expected. Stay away from dangerous areas like piers, breakwalls,
and river outlets.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Thursday

The high and moderate swim risks continue through Friday evening.

There is a slight chance for thunderstorms Sunday, and then a
chance for thunderstorms Monday night through Wednesday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed but rainfall reports are
appreciated.
